This is Buckingham Palace on a sunny Saturday afternoon in June. Every inch was teeming with tourists.
It didn't look like the sort of garden that was intended for picnics - but there was no actual sign saying "Keep off the grass!". So I ducked under the single rail and found a spot between the flower beds where I could take the photographs without people tripping over the tripod.
The huge gilded statue in the middle of the road is the Victoria Memorial and the park behind it is Green Park.
The park nearest to the camera is St James Park.
